Fly II Scenery

Aegean Seagull will eventually be a FLYII compatible VA.  We would like to thank George Matsaridis for his evolutionary technic to create FLY II detailed scenery. The results of his job are very impressive and keep on coming.

In the meantime here are the scenery files you need to fly in Hellas:

(All the following scenery files can be found in www.avsim.com. )

Photoreal Skiathos (LGSK) Airport - ZipDive!

File Description:
Skiathos scenery is a semi-default, semi-custom objects created airport. It was made possible using the 'C33 method', a procedural technique developed using Canoma, 3D Exploration and 3D Studio Max. This method guarantees real-to-life textures application, intuitive model design and excellent performance. My design philosophy is straightforward. I want my models to RESAMPLE real life prototypes, and NOT to be exact architectural copies. As such, my models are detailed only in terms of basic shapes imitation. You will not find any banisters, lockers, screws, wires, etc, etc. All these, apart from being extremely time-consuming to model, they offer nothing to the simulation experience and of course they are frame rate killers.
